This Privacy Policy explains how Advanced Micro Control Pte Ltd (UEN 199204515R), trading as ITProSG (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal data when you visit itprosg.com or engage our services. We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

1. Personal data we collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details — name, business name, email address, telephone number, and postal or site address.
  • Enquiry information — the contents of messages you send us through our contact forms, by email, telephone or messaging apps.
  • Service and account information — records of the IT services we provide to you, support tickets, site survey notes, equipment inventories, service reports and billing records.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring pages, and pages viewed on our website.
  • Data encountered during service delivery — in the course of providing IT support, server, CCTV or network services, our technicians may incidentally access systems that contain personal data belonging to you, your employees or your customers. We access such data only as necessary to perform the requested services.

2. How we collect personal data

  • Directly from you, when you complete a form on our website, request a quotation, email or call us, or engage our services.
  • Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our website.
  • From third parties, such as referral partners, or publicly available business directories.

3. Purposes for which we use your personal data

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide quotations.
  • To provide, maintain, support and improve the IT services you have engaged us for.
  • To manage our contractual relationship with you, including invoicing and payment collection.
  • To send service notices, maintenance schedules and technical alerts.
  • To send marketing communications about our services, where you have consented to receive them.
  • To improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
  • To comply with legal, regulatory and accounting obligations, and to resolve disputes.

4. Consent and withdrawal of consent

By submitting your personal data to us, you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of that data for the purposes set out in this Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to our Data Protection Officer using the contact details in section 11.

We will process your withdrawal request within a reasonable time and will inform you of the likely consequences. Please note that withdrawing consent may mean we are unable to continue providing services to you. Withdrawal of consent does not affect our right to retain data where required or permitted by law.

5. Disclosure of personal data

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it to:

  • Our employees, contractors and technicians, on a need-to-know basis, in order to deliver services to you.
  • Service providers acting on our behalf, such as hosting providers, email and CRM platforms, accounting services and payment processors.
  • Hardware and software vendors, where necessary to fulfil warranty claims, licensing or product support on your behalf.
  • Professional advisers such as auditors, lawyers and insurers.
  • Government agencies, regulators or law enforcement, where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We require third parties handling personal data on our behalf to provide a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

6. Transfers outside Singapore

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Singapore. Where we transfer personal data overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient provides a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA, as required by the Transfer Limitation Obligation.

7. Cookies and website analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. We currently use Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel. These tools set cookies that help us measure website traffic, understand how visitors find and use our site, and measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Google and Meta may combine this information with data they already hold about you and may use it to show you our advertisements on their platforms and partner sites.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. Some parts of the website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

8. Protection of personal data

We make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data in our possession or control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. These include access controls, staff confidentiality obligations, encrypted transmission where appropriate, and restricted physical and system access.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to us over the internet.

9. Retention of personal data

We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required for legal, regulatory, tax or accounting purposes. As a general rule, we retain business, service and accounting records for at least 5 years, in line with Singapore tax and record-keeping requirements. Enquiries that do not result in an engagement are retained for a shorter period. When personal data is no longer needed, we will destroy it or remove the means by which it can be associated with you.

10. Your rights of access and correction

Under the PDPA you may request:

  • Access — information about the personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year.
  • Correction — that we correct any error or omission in your personal data.

Please submit requests in writing to our Data Protection Officer. We will respond within the timeframes required by the PDPA. A reasonable fee may apply to access requests, and we will inform you of any fee before processing your request. We may decline a request in the limited circumstances permitted by law.

12. Marketing and the Do Not Call Registry

We will only send you marketing messages where you have consented or where permitted by law. We check Singapore Do Not Call Registry listings before sending marketing messages to Singapore telephone numbers, where required.

13. Third-party websites

Our website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

14. Changes to this Policy
